Pals Paper Arts #230 & Create with Connie & Mary Challenge #332

Hey Everyone

I saw the challenge at Create with Connie & Mary was to make a Gift Card Holder and decided I could make a head start on my Christmas gift card/money holders.  I’ve combined this challenge with the colour challenge at Pals Paper Arts – they’re the perfect colours for Christmas!

I have a confession – I’ve never used this retired Stampin’ Up! Christmas Stocking Die before. I’m hoping I’m not the only one that buys products thinking I’m going to use them – only for them to sit in the cupboard for possibly 3 years??? I made sure I used my new Gift Card Envelope and Trims Thinlits Dies.  I stamped the envelope with Endless Wishes in Baked Brown Sugar and the sentiment is from my Wondrous Wreath Framelits Dies. Quick and easy!

And look! I made more than one!

  1. Very adorable, Narelle! I still have that stocking die and use it occasionally. However, I have plenty of product that I purchased for the “right” project that still have not seen the light of day. You have inspired me to seek them out! Thanks for playing along with the PPA this week!!

  2. I still have my stocking, too! I love the clip idea – they can easily be attached to the tree – great idea! Thanks for joining us in the Gift Card Challenge this week at Create with Connie and Mary!

  3. How fun and another use for that stocking die! LOVE the joy across it! Thanks for playing along with the gift card challenge this week on Create with Connie and Mary!

  4. What a great way to combine the old with the new! I love the stocking, it reminds me that I need to pull out mine it use it too! Thanks so much for joining the gift card holder challenge this week at Create with Connie and Mary!
