Hey Everyone
It’s time for a new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches and this week our sketch is brought to us by the fabulously talented Rita Wright. Thanks for a great sketch Rita – it’s so up my over-layered alley!
As you can see I’m still going through my Blendabilities colouring phase. To give a bit of depth to the flowers, I’ve coloured over the Daffodil Delight with a bit of Rich Razzleberry in the centre of the blooms. The colour combination I’ve used is Hello Honey, Smoky Slate and Blackberry Bliss – a combination I saw a girl at work wearing the other day. It really appealed to me! Here’s my card:
Come and join us for this weeks challenge at Freshly Made Sketches. While you’re over at the challenge make sure you take a look at the wonderful inspiration from the design team.
Thanks for stopping by.
Cheers
Narelle
I like how you have blended the colours together, and the fussy cutting of the flowers looks fantastic!!!
You can just continue in this phase while the rest of us pin away!! 🙂 Beautiful card! I just knew you’d love this sketch.
This is so pretty! Love the Blackberry Bliss ribbon with your yellow and gray!
I love your lovely layers here! And I love your color combo and the way you’ve added color to the flowers. Beautifully done, Narelle!
The darker colour in the centre of your flowers really adds another dimension. Great idea! And gorgeous card!
The flowers are wonderful. Your coloring has given them a 3D quality! Another beauty!
Your card is gorgeous!!
I love the color scheme, and how you worked that VERY fussy cut flower in. The blackberry bliss ribbon is stunning, too.
What a great colour combination for this card Narelle. I love how you took inspiration from someone’s outfit. Sometimes that’s all you need. The Rich Razzleberry in the center of the flowers really adds interest as do the rhinestones. Totally awesome card!
Great inspiration card! Love it! xx
