Create with Connie & Mary Challenge #316 & Retro Sketches #128

Hey Everyone

I’m back with my second card today.  Bit proud of myself that I actually made two cards in one day!  I’ve combined my card for two challenges again – the colour challenge at Create with Connie & Mary and the sketch challenge at Retro Sketches.  Here are their inspiration pics:

Think I said it last time I used Blackberry Bliss, I’m in love with this colour!!! I’ve only used a smidge of Soft Sky, but it is there in centre of my flowers.  To give my flowers some definition and height, I squeezed each of the petals together.  Stampin’ Up!s Flower Patch is a fabulous set to use – it has matching dies so not much fussy cutting for once!  Here’s my card:

Thanks for stopping by.

Cheers

  1. Stunning! Love how your flowers have so much dimension! And your flower centers really pop! Thanks for playing the challenge at Create with Connie and Mary!

  2. You have been a busy little stamper, love this card! I was just on Nikki Spencer’s blog and she had used Black Berry Bliss and I commented I have not used it yet, but after her card I was eyeing it for a next project, NOW I see you using it and I really do need to play with it. LOVE that you have done.

  3. Another gorgeous card! Love the dimension you gave to the flowers! Thanks for joining us in the Color Challenge this week at Create with Connie and Mary!

  4. Oh my…I just LOVE your flowers…they just POP off the screen! Love all the details on the bow, too! Thanks for playing along with the color challenge this week on Create with Connie and Mary!
