Freshly Made Sketches #144

Hey Everyone

I’m back!!! It feels like forever since I’ve been into my craft to do anything other than stare at my desk and wonder how long it would take for me to stamp again.  The fracture is healing well so I thought it was time to try and make a card.  I really wanted to have a go at Karren’s great sketch at Freshly Made Sketches, so I ignored my twingy elbow.

I was given good advice by my fellow FMS DT member Jennifer to keep my fussy cutting to a minimum so that was what I attempted to do – as you can see, keeping it to a minimum didn’t quite work! I finally put in an order for Stampin’ Up! Blendabilities and this is my first attempt at using them.  I think I should’ve been doing a bit of research on how to use them in while I haven’t been able to create – think I’ll do that as I’m now off work for the next week and a half.

We’d love for you to join us this week at Freshly Made Sketches – head over to the challenge and check out the inspiration from the Design Team.

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. Narelle this is beautiful! I would say not bad for a bum elbow! Please do limit your use and let it heal correctly, I would hate it if you had damage beyond repair. Blessings to you!

  2. Narelle, have truly missed your postings and hope your fracture heals fast now. Good luck! You are so talented…I love your works of art! The posting today is lovely as usual. I love both the design and colors.

  3. Welcome back! I’ve missed seeing your gorgeous creations in blogland and this card is no exception. I ditto what others have said – keep looking after yourself.

  4. So glad to see you stamping (and fussy cutting) again, Narelle! Your time off didn’t affect your ability to make gorgeous cards, that’s for sure! Love this — everything about it.

  5. It looks to me like you, um, ignored my advice but you sure did create a classic Narelle beauty. I’ll just see the cutting and coloring as your required therapy, lol!! Glad to have you back with us!!
