colourQ #237 & The Paper Players #192

Hey Everyone

I hope you’ve all had a wonderful Easter and not overindulged on chockies.  I’m pretty proud of myself as I’ve just had my first one and it’s Easter Monday here in Australia – I don’t even think I’ll need to eat anymore.  The challenges I’m entering today are colourQ Challenge and The Paper Players.  Here are their inspiration pics:

It was a quick card for me for once as I was trying really hard for a clean and simple style. The Stampin’ Up! stamp sets I’ve used are Flower Shop, Petite Petals, Summer Silhouettes and Tape It.  As I’m just looking at my card I’m seeing a bluey tinge in the background, but my card base is definitely Whisper White – not sure what happened with my photo.

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. Beautiful, Narelle! I just HAD to have Tape It and I haven’t used for a while, I love what you did with it. Lovely way to use the challenge colors too! Thanks for sharing this with us at the Paper Players and the CQC this week!

  2. What a sweet card, Narelle, your background is perfectly white, I am not sure what blue you are seeing! Thanks for joining in the fun at the colourQ.

  3. Lovely card, Narelle–the colors are so soft and pretty! I love how you’ve used the Tape it stamp Iset and the little pop of blue tape is perfect! Thanks for joining in the washi fun at The Paper Players!

  4. This is a lovely creation as always, Narelle! I like how you stamped your faux washi tape and your floral bouquet, and you kept it CAS with plenty of white space. Thanks so much for joining us this week at The Paper Players!
