Freshly Made Sketches #131

Hey Everyone

This weeks Freshly Made Sketches sketch is brought to us by the amazing talented Cindy Hall.  You’re going to want to head over to Cindy’s blog and check out her lovely cards.

I’m currently on a holiday with my mum and we’re creating every 2nd day or so – can’t do it every day as then everyone would be saying “is that all you’re going to do all holiday?” (and probably yes, that’s what we would do everyday if we could!) It’s very hard to create on holidays when you’ve only got a third of your craft room with you and to make things worse I only gave myself one hour to pack my SU stuff the night before we left.  I feel like I’ve got no matching papers and inks, so my cards are taking forever!  My mum was asking for a bit of watercolouring advice so I pulled out Stampin’ Up!s Pleasant Poppies for her to start her watercolouring.  Here’s what we made:

We’d love for you to join us this week at Freshly Made Sketches.  Head over to challenge and link up a card – while you’re there, check out the gorgeous inspiration from the Design Team.

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. WOW! So beautiful Narelle!! I love the beautiful flowers, great coloring!! I would love to stamp with my Mom,sounds so fun!! But my Mom is more of a knitter! Have fun!! 🙂

  2. Wow Narelle, this is so BEAUTIFUL! Love the colour combo. It’s hard to know what to take on holidays cardmaking-wise – and I always end up taking stuff I don’t use but wish I had brought other things. Hope you have a wonderful break away!

  3. This is so pretty, Narelle! Those poppies look like they were made for this card design. Love your choices of colors and papers, too.

  4. Beautiful! Your colouring is fantastic! I so feel your pain about not having matching supplies, but I’m glad you’re getting some crafting in on your holiday.

  5. This is awesome, Narelle. How fun that you get to stamp with your mom. I wish my mom enjoyed it! She’s more into sewing, which is way out of my league!
