Freshly Made Sketches #125

Hey Everyone

Woohoo I’m this weeks hostess at Freshly Made Sketches.  I don’t know why but I always get a bit nervous when it’s my turn.  I kept this sketch as delayered as I could – I can’t wait to see what you do with it!

Yes, I know I have an addiction to Coastal Cabana but I just can’t help it.  I have used it quite a bit lately on my cards but to mix things up, I’ve teamed it with Sahara Sand.   I’ve added a couple of banners to my card that aren’t on the sketch, but I really like the look it gave – you know how I like fullness to my cards!  Here’s what I came up with:

You’re going to want to see what the Clean Team have designed this week, so head over to Freshly Made Sketches and check out their gorgeous cards.

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. Your sketch is perfect because it allows for individual creativity! And I would say you have cornered the market on individual creativity! This is beautiful……..soothing colors and beautifully detailed and layered!

  2. This sketch is very de-layered for you but I love what you’ve done with it. The colours are fab and the flowers and banners are gorgeous. Great sketch and great card!

  3. You are fellow matting lover, I see! I adore your repeating banners and that fab embossed main panel! I have no idea how you mail your cards, but I love them! 🙂

  4. It’s a super fun sketch, cousin. As far as I’m concerned, you can use Coastal Cabana on every card. It’s such a pretty color…especially in your hands!

  5. Exceptionally beautiful, Narelle! Love those colors, and the textures, patterns and layers. Amazing, as always!
