Hey Everyone
We have a great sketch for you at Freshly Made Sketches this week. The lovely Rita Wright (my maiden name was Wright so I’m thinking we might be related 😉 – always wanted to visit Texas!) is our hostess and she has created one gorgeous sketch for us:
I had the urge to use pink this week – Stampin’ Up!s Strawberry Slush in fact. I tend to use lighter shades of pink like Pink Pirouette but I wanted to try a Strawberry Slush and Smoky Slate combo. Glad I did because I really like it! Here’s my card:
Come and join us this week at Freshly Made Sketches. The design team has created fabulous cards for inspiration so why don’t you head over to the challenge and check them out!
Thanks for stopping by.
Cheers
Narelle
Slush and smoke look fabulous together! Pretty card!
You always choose the best colour combos! This is gorgeous and it looks as if you’ve curled the petals of the flowers – brilliant touch!
OMG you and Rita are cousins, I’m sure of it!!! And I think you sold me on this color combo! The flowers are gorgeous, especially with their curled ends.
Beautiful card, Narelle! If you come visit your “relative” in Texas, you can swing by and visit me too. We’d all love to have you and listen to your wonderful accent.
pretty card but where’s your famous bow? lol
Beautiful card Narelle, these are lovely colours and papers.
Come on over, Cousin Narelle. 🙂 You can totally teach me how to make bows and how to layer! I love the Strawberry Slush with the gray. I keep forgetting about all the in colors. You’ve inspired me to try to use them this week with this beauty!
Stunning card! Love your color choices.
Oh how I love this card! Pink is my favorite color & you’ve made me want to go make a pink card right now!
