Hey Everyone
I’m really late with my card for Mojo Monday this week – but better late than never. I’m not sure how this has happened but I am making less cards on holidays than what I make when I work full time. I can’t even tell you what I’ve been up to – I’m simply enjoying doing bugger all! I definitely could live this life.
Here’s Mojo Monday’s sketch this week:
I’ve teamed the sketch challenge with the colour challenge over at Inspired by Stamping. I love this soft colour combo:
You’re probably going to look at this card and say exactly what I did – a fern frond doesn’t go with rolled roses, but hopefully the recipient of this card won’t know the difference. The Stampin’ Up! colours I’ve used are Very Vanilla, Blushing Bride and Coastal Cabana. The designer series paper come from a Stampin’ Up! pack called Afternoon Picnic.
Thanks for stopping by.
Cheers
Narelle
So very beautiful! I love all your layering and details. Thanks for joining us at IBS!
Ooooh, Narelle! This is so feminine and gorgeous!
Holidays have a way of doing that! When I’m at work I think if all the things I could get done at home but when I’m at home, I don’t get them done! Your card is great and I don’t think it matters that you put a fern on there! It works and it looks great anyway!
I think it is gorgeous. Love the colors and rolled roses. I think the fern looks great with the roses.
When you get a bouquet of roses, they have ferns in it, so I think it looks fine.
Sweet,so pretty love everything about it. You do the best roses !!!
Absolutely gorgeous!!! LOVE the beautiful distressing and those gorgeous flowers! Thanks for joining us at HOC! HUGS and hope you join us again soon! 🙂 Mynn xx

Pretty card! Love all the distressing. Thanks for joining us at IBS.
Another stunner of a card, Narelle. I love the Coastal Cabana with the Blushing Bride – just gorgeous. And the fern frond didn’t jump out at me as not belonging, so don’t stress it. BTW, the EQ was really deep and in the North Island so no serious damage, fortunately.
LOVE your use of the colors! Beautiful card – Thanks for joining in with IBS!
