Hey Everyone
I am LOVING that I am on holidays and can head out to my craft room on a weekday! It’s so nice to not be rushing around on the weekend trying to get all my housework done and then make time for my cards. I even got a couple of hours of shopping in this morning – (are you even more jealous Karren???). I’m going to be quick with this post as I’m now off to watch a movie 😉
The card I’m sharing I managed to sneak in for 3 challenges – Stampin’ Royalty sketch challenge, SUO challenge where we create a project using the colours I think of when I think of January and the Tic Toc challenge at Friday Mashup where I create a project with the Theme of Time.
When I think of January, I think of my sisters birthday. Her birthstone is a Garnet and because of this, red is her favourite colour – so that’s the main colour I went with on my card. I was initially looking to use Clockworks for my card, but decided to ditch that idea when I came across Sense of Time first. It is still one of my favourite retired Stampin’ Up! sets. I then added the blossom from Morning Meadow and was really happy with the end result – I’m hoping my sister will be too! Here’s my card:
Thanks for stopping by.
Cheers

Ha ha – shopping AND card-making – my idea of a perfect holiday! Enjoy! This card is beautiful and I can’t believe you fussy-cut that flower – I’m impressed!
Beautiful card. I particularly like the combination of papers!
Wow, this is absolutely beautiful! I love the lightly stamped clock in the back, and the sentiment is one of my favorites! Thanks for joining the Friday Mashup this week.
Oh my! Just BEAUTIFUL!!!

You totally rocked all three challenges! I love the dp (have lots left myself), but the flower you cut out is amazing. All the elements came together beautifully.
What a fantastic idea to use January’s birthstone. Love the rich red colour, especially those blossoms. Great to see you playing along at SUO.
What a pretty card. I cannot believe how well you fussy cut those cherry blossoms! It looks great!
