Hey Everyone
It’s Wednesday so that means a new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches. This week our sketch hostess is the lovely Linda Suarez. She has created this interesting sketch that I have to admit gave me a bit of trouble. I’m not overly sure that I really like the colours I’ve used on my card but once I started with them I didn’t know how to change them to another combo – I’m really trying to test myself with brighter colours.
I’ve gone with the old faithful Stippled Blossoms for my card. I really love the depth you give to these flowers by using a darker shade of ink over the base colour. It was only after I stuck my card together did I realise that I was supposed to have my sentiment at the bottom of my card, but then I didn’t know how I could make it work lower (sorry Linda!).
Head over to Freshly Made Sketches and check out the varied and very lovely inspiration the Design Team have provided for you this week.
Thanks for stopping by.
Cheers
Narelle
The flowers are gorgeous…as are the colors! Love that sweet ruffled ribbon edge!
Your florals are beautiful! and I love the tiny ruffled ribbon – so cute!
Narelle, this card is beautiful! Those flowers are just fabulous! I love the colours you’ve used! So springy on this dismal day!
I can’t imagine why you don’t like this. The colors are are great together! I’m so glad that my winter is your summer because your cheerful summery cards will definitely brighten the days of my long, cold winter 🙂
Your card is gorgeous Narelle! I love the colors but I think my favorite bit is the ruffle ribbon – it looks amazing! And no worries about where you put your sentiment – I love it right where it is!
Love this gorgeous pink creation!
