Stampin’ Royalty #196 & The Deconstructed Sketch #121

Hey Everyone

I’m back!!!  We’re at the end of our school holidays in Melbourne and I’ve spent the last two weeks vacationing on the gorgeous Gold Coast.  Did you miss me???  We’ve just had the BEST time and have had probably had the most perfect weather ever in all of our years of holidaying there.  The theme parks are always fun (yes, I’m a theme park girl) and got to spend many hours lounging by the pool.  I better stop writing about my holiday because it making me want to go back – more so now because it’s raining outside as I type this post.

It felt like ages since I’ve made a card and initially I just sat waiting for inspiration to hit. I needed guidance for my card, so I found a colour challenge and a sketch challenge to get me going.  I’ve used the following inspiration pic from Stampin’ Royalty:

And the sketch from this weeks Deconstructed Sketch:

Here’s my card:

DS121 & SR196

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. I love this card. It is so beautiful. I am really loving the stamp set Simply Sketched there is so much variety.

  2. Beautiful, Narelle. I love the soft tones you’ve used in this card. Glad you had a good time on the Gold Coast. I find it just so relaxing – as soon as the plane lands, my shoulders drop and the stress just rolls off. We haven’t been in 3 years because DH is “tired of it”. Can you believe that???
