Hey Everyone
I’m in love the colour combo over at Create with Connie & Mary this week!!!
I’ve teamed their colour challenge with the sketch challenge at Mojo Monday. Here’s their sketch:
When I first saw Stampin’ Up!s 2013-2014 In Colours I seriously didn’t know if I was going to like them. Not sure why because I am totally loving them now, especially Pistachio Pudding. I tend to jump to the wrong conclusion on some products – ie. when I first saw Artistic Etchings, I said to a friend that I wouldn’t be ordering it as I didn’t think I’d use it. How wrong could I be? – it’s one of my favourite vintagey sets. I need to learn to give things a go before I judge them.
I don’t have any new Blushing Bride DSP so I’ve used some retired off-cuts that I found in my stash. I dyed my seam binding with Pistachio Pudding ink so that it matches my papers, added some leaves from Papaya Collage and the butterflies are from Papillion Potpourri. I’m loving the softness of these colours and am really happy with my card.
Thanks for stopping by.
Cheers
Narelle
