Freshly Made Sketches #99

Hey Everyone

The very talented Rita is this weeks sketch hostess at Freshly Made Sketches.

I’ve gone with hexagons on my card instead of circles as I was determined to make use of my Stampin’ Up! hexagon stamp set and matching punch at least once.  The stamp set is called Six-Sided Sampler and even though I’m seeing the most beautiful cards, I’ve struggling to make one that I like.

We’d love for you to join us this week at Freshly Made Sketches.  Head over to the challenge and check out the gorgeous inspiration from the design team to get you started.

Thanks for stopping by.

    1. Thank you for your kind words! The colours I’ve used are Smoky Slate, Crisp Cantaloupe for the flowers and Pistachio Pudding DSP – I probably should’ve put them in my post but I ran out of time 🙂

  1. I agree with Linda, this is gorgeous and you do have a way with flowers. You always combine such great colors, papers and images. Thanks for sharing.

  2. Fabulous! Your layers look amazing as always and I love the hexagons. I usually only set this set on bold, bright cards, but you made them so soft and serene here. It’s a nice change for sure!

  3. I love this card Narelle! Those layers and soft colours are just fabulous!!! I’ve had the same issues with the stamp set. I was so excited about getting it and then got frustrated! You have inspired me!!!!
