Freshly Made Sketches #93

Hey Everyone

Allisa is this weeks sketch hostess at Freshly Made Sketches.  She has created the following fabulous sketch:

I’m mixed it up this week and gave myself the challenge of creating something other than  a feminine florally card. The card I’ve gone with was designed around some designer series paper I found in my stash.  Back when I first became a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator I brought DSP and then didn’t want to use it in case I wasted it and didn’t have it anymore!  So this specialty DSP called Sweet Slumber Specialty DSP was one of those ones that I’ve barely cracked open.  I’m not as fussed now about holding on to DSP – my mission is to use up as much as possible! I’ve used the grader from I Dig You for the main image and just to add some extra interest I added the cog-type images from a retired Stampin’ Up! set called Sense of Time.

Check out the fab cards the Design Team have created this week by heading over to Freshly Made Sketches.  We’d love for you to join in with Allisa’s sketch while you’re there!

Thanks for stopping by.

Cheers

  1. This is fabulous! Love that digger so much!!! I also really like those cogs! I definitely need more masculine sets!!! Love the colours! Shamefully I am a DSP hoarder! I wonder if they have a club for us?!

  2. Wow! I love it when you do a non-flower card (I love the flower cards, too). You have such an incredible talent with colors and paper pairing and your details are out-of-this-world fantastic. Really great card!

  3. LOL I can relate on the DSP! I’m trying so hard to use up mine too. I love how fun your card is this week. The colors are so perfect for a little boy!
