Hey Everyone
Guess who’s the sketch hostess at Freshly Made Sketches this week? Me! You would think that when I made this sketch a few weeks ago, I would’ve had a plan in mind for my card – as usual I left it until the last minute and had to rush my card through.
I’ve dragged out some retired Stampin’ Up! designer series paper (again) for my card – Spice Cake DSP. I initially thought I had enough of the DSP from this pack that had Pool Party as the main colour, but found I only had small pieces left. I settled for this Early Espresso DSP instead.
We would love for you to join us at Freshly Made Sketches, so head over to the challenge and link up a card. While you’re there check out the gorgeous inspiration from the Design Team. I can’t wait to see what you do with my sketch!
Thanks for stopping by.
Cheers
Narelle
I miss this DSP so much and I’m glad to see some of it still floating around. It was perfect for this card. Thanks so much for the great sketch this week!

Great sketch, Narelle and you’ve created a great card to showcase it.
Well I tried to give Amy credit for your fabulous sketch but her brain was working better than mine and she corrected me. 😉 It is a fabulous one and you used it well. I LOVE seeing the Spice Cake paper; it should have been like Lovely as a Tree and stayed around forever.
(and just to say, I tried cutting out those leaves like you do and it didn’t go so well. You are my fussy cutting HERO!)
You totally rocked this sketch, Narelle! It was such a fun one to use and your card is stunning as always!
