Freshly Made Sketches #85

Hey Everyone

Guess who’s the sketch hostess at Freshly Made Sketches this week? Me!  You would think that when I made this sketch a few weeks ago, I would’ve had a plan in mind for my card – as usual I left it until the last minute and had to rush my card through.

I’ve dragged out some retired Stampin’ Up! designer series paper (again) for my card – Spice Cake DSP.  I initially thought I had enough of the DSP from this pack that had Pool Party as the main colour, but found I only had small pieces left.  I settled for this Early Espresso DSP instead.

We would love for you to join us at Freshly Made Sketches, so head over to the challenge and link up a card.  While you’re there check out the gorgeous inspiration from the Design Team.  I can’t wait to see what you do with my sketch!

Thanks for stopping by.

  4. Well I tried to give Amy credit for your fabulous sketch but her brain was working better than mine and she corrected me. 😉 It is a fabulous one and you used it well. I LOVE seeing the Spice Cake paper; it should have been like Lovely as a Tree and stayed around forever.

(and just to say, I tried cutting out those leaves like you do and it didn’t go so well. You are my fussy cutting HERO!)
