Hey Everyone
Jennifer is this weeks hostess at Freshly Made Sketches. She’s designed this fabulous and very versatile sketch for us to create our cards:
My card was created around the frame from Papaya Collage that I had sitting on my desk. I’d stamped it and put it aside from another project and was determined to make it work on another card before I ruined it with another spilt coffee. I had to flip the base of my card to fit the frame – gee, only my second week on the Design Team and I’m already straying from the sketch! The colours and DSP I’ve used were itching to be distressed and daubed, but I held back.
Head over to Freshly Made Sketches and check out the gorgeous inspiration from the Design Team.
Thanks for stopping by.
Cheers
Narelle

Truly beautiful! That hint of soft pink is perfect with all of the neutrals!
So classy and elegant! I love the butterflies framed on the script!
So, so pretty Narelle. I don’t know how you manage to make so many fabulous cards each week. I’m a bit jealous of your talent. 😉 I love the frame and I’m so glad there was no coffee to ruin it. 🙂
Your card is so beautiful Narelle! Those framed butterflies look like they should be hanging up on a wall! So lovely!
Oh my gosh, Narelle! This is so beautiful and elegant. Your color choices couldn’t have been better, and I can see why you were itching to distress, but the clean elegance of this is perfection. I am in love with this card!
I, too, can see how hard it was to resist distressing but I have to admit that the clean look makes it so elegant! Those butterflies are fantastic (and I’m always in love with the bows).
Your framed butterflies look gorgeous on the script background, and I love these soft pastel colors! Beautiful!
