Hey Everyone
I’m back to share a card that I made for the inspiration challenge over at Inspired by Stamping. Here’s their inspiration pic:
This colour combination is a new one for me so it took me a while to create this card. And I only just managed to squeeze in blue and that was for the sentiment. I broke open a packet of Mellow Moss cardstock for my card that I found pushed to the back of the drawer. As I don’t have light purple seam binding I dyed some Very Vanilla seam binding (and my fingers!) with some Pale Plum ink. The sentiment is stamped in Brocade Blue as I think it was the closet blue I had to the challenge colour. As I mentioned in my previous post, I’m trying to use Postage Due as it has been severely neglected. I’ve used it in the background behind my flowers (just in case you can’t see it in the photo).
Here’s my card:
Thanks for stopping by.
Cheers

What a stunning card!!! The patterns you’ve chosen, in both the base paper and the embossed one, fit the shape and form of the stamped flowers to a tee. So very, very beautiful!
Always, always, I love your stuff, Narelle! Once again you’ve put some amazing touches on your card. I too have some Mellow Moss cardstock remaining and have been rather hoarding it for some time now since it retired!
