Hey Everyone
I was just sitting here wording in my head what I was going to say in this post, when I realised I’d forgotten to let you know my news. Lesley asked me if I’d like to stay on her Merry Monday Design Team until March! Of course I said yes, so I’m a Merry Maker for a few more weeks – you’ll be seeing more Christmas cards for a while yet. I’m happy to say I’ve kept my record of playing along with every challenge from the start of the year. You should see my stash!
Anyway enough of my babbling – here’s Lesley’s sketch:
I’ve used my newbie Stampin’ Up! stamp set again – Watercolour Winter – love how easy colouring is when you use a two-step stamping set. Instead of two strips (like on Lesley’s sketch) I’ve torn my two strips of DSP to give it a more vintage look. Here’s my card:
Thanks for stopping by.
Head over to Lesley’s blog and be inspired by the gorgeous cards the Merry Makers have created this week!
Cheers
Narelle

What a gorgeous card, Narelle! You’re making me reconsider this stamp set! I LOVE how you colored your poinsettias! Glad to hear too that you’ll be a Merry Maker for a while longer! Love your work!
Love this, Narelle…beautiful soft colors complement those vintagey strips! Gorgeous!
Stunning! LOVE the coloring on the poinsettias – and the torn backdrop is perfect with them!
Beautiful card, Narelle! I’m loving how you toren your strips of DSP for the panels and your pretty poinsettia’s! Love it!
Have a great week ahead! 🙂
Congratulations on your Merry Maker extension :). Your card is so pretty, I love the rustic colours and feel of your card.
Such an amazing piece of work Narelle…love the torn edges and your fussy cutting!
Hi Narelle,
Your blossoms really make your card, and I like that its fairly loosely structured and has an artistic flow! Nice color combo.
Blessings,
Barb
Lovely card Narelle! I like the colours you chose and Oh, all that fussy cutting well worth the effort on those fronds. Glad to see your on the Design Team till March.
This is a vintage beauty with those soft colors and torn panels. It must have taken you forever to hand-cut those pines, but what a great look!
