Mojo Monday #262 & Inspired By Stamping Inspiration Challenge #29

Hey Everyone

Mojo Monday have given us this great sketch this week that I flipped on it’s side for my card:

I’ve combined Mojo’s sketch challenge with the colour challenge at Inspired by Stamping Inspiration Challenge, where their colours are green, brown & cream/white. Here’s their inspiration picture:

I pulled out some retired DSP called Brocade Background for my card.  I ruffed it up a bit and sponged the edges to get that whole shabby look.  I’m really addicted to rolled roses at the moment.  These ones are made from First Edition DSP and stuck together with Crystal Effects.  I made a triple bow with Very Vanilla Seam Binding and scrunched the living daylights out of it with my hand to give it that crinkled look. I then added one of my new brushed bronze buttons to the bow – I think it goes really nicely with Chocolate Chip cardstock.

Here’s my card:

Thanks for stopping by.

Cheers

Narelle
