Merry Monday Challenge #36

Hey Everyone

So this is a first for me – I broke open my previously unopened brayer.  The thing scared the life out of me but I wanted to overcome my fear of it and give it a go.  Be gentle on me for my first time using it….

I tried the reflection technique with my Lovely as a Tree stamp set.  I’m hoping I was able to achieve the look I was going for.  Here’s Lesley’s Merry Monday sketch that inspired me to try using my brayer.

Here’s my card:

Thanks for stopping by.

Cheers

  1. This looks wonderful Narelle, first try or not! I love the soft misty effect and reflections, well done, l’m impressed that you tried. Me, lol …not gonna happen anytime soon…:0)

  2. Oh, Narelle, what a beautiful, peaceful scene you’ve created! The sponged, moonlit sky and reflections are gorgeous! I’m still afraid of my brayer and haven’t dared ink it. And I tried the reflection technique and wasn’t nearly this succesful!

  3. Absolutely beautiful, Narelle! I have never tried the reflection technique either but I have to say that you did a wonderful job of acheiving the look you wanted! This card is so pretty with the wintery, icy look of the moon! Love the color combo and your pretty bow! Fabulous job!! 🙂

  4. First time with the brayer? Really? Wow! You have created a stunning look here Narelle, the reflection technique is gorgeous. By the way, I am afraid of my brayer too…just saying…
    Hugs,
