Merry Monday Challenge #29

Hey Everyone

It’s Merry Monday time again!  Lesley has provided us with this great sketch for us to make our cards:

I did something that I very rarely do with this Christmas card – I heat embossed! I think I purchased this gold embossing powder about 2 years ago and had to crack it open for this challenge.  I’ve embossed my wreath and sentiment (even though you can’t see it in the photo).  I found a pack of DSP in the back of my cupboard that hadn’t been opened called – Christmas Cocoa – I didn’t even know I had it!  I really am shocking with my hoarding!

I hope you have time to check out the gorgeous cards the Merry Makers have created and join us for this weeks challenge.

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. Narelle, this is so pretty! Love that you embossed the wreath in gold! Looks wonderful with those papers! Very pretty bow and love the dry embossing on your white panel! Perfect Christmas card!! 🙂

  2. Oh, SOOOO pretty. I love the embossing!! I haven’t done that in ages – thanks for the inspirational reminder as to how pretty it is. Also love that I am not alone with my ‘hoarding’. Sigh. I’m making Christmas cards like crazy and am barely making a dent in the stash. Of course you cut into a lovely sheet of DP – then you have to save all those scraps! LOL.
    Cheers, Karen

  3. This is beautiful Narelle. Did you enjoy the Melbourne regionals? I’m sorry not to have been able to see you there. I’ve been really unwell and now my son has caught the virus and is sick too. It’s not been a fun month!

  4. This is so beautiful Narelle, the use of the two tones and the vanillla…oh so pretty! You are gifted my friend, all of your cards are elegant and simply stunning!
