The Paper Players Challenge #75

Hey Everyone

I almost missed this weeks challenge at The Paper Players – busy, busy week again.  Their challenge this is week to create a card that isn’t the usual Christmas colour combo and not use the usual Christmas stamps.

Here’s what I came up with:

Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, First Edition DSP, Night of Navy, Night of Navy DSP
Ink: Night of Navy
Stamp Sets: Language of Friendship, Many Merry Messages (retired), French Foliage
Other Products: Very Vanilla Seam Binding, Button, Hemp Twine, Basic Pearls, Dots Embossing Folder

  1. I almost pulled out this set to use the leaf image 🙂 Love the colors and the non-traditional images that work so well for a Christmas card- thanks again for sharing your talent and ideas with all of us!

  3. Narelle, I have to tell you that your cards are really creative and so beautiful. As a new stamper, I am so happy that I found you on PPA and now get your blog updates. I love this card in particular because it isn’t the typical holiday card and yet is stunningly “holiday” all at the same time.

    BTW, my daughter just emigrated to Oz with her husband, so take good care of her for me!
