Pals Paper Arts #122 & Create with Connie & Mary #178

Hey Everyone

At Pals Paper Arts this week they have the following colour challenge.  Would you believe I think I’ve only used these colours together once before?  I generally use Old Olive with Cherry Cobbler but I think I’ll use Always Artichoke more often now.

I’m combining these colours with the sketch challenge at Create with Connie & Mary.

This is what I came up with:

Thanks for stopping by.

This card was chosen as a Pals Paper Arts Pick this week.

Products Used:
Cardstock: Always Artichoke, Always Artichoke DSP, Cherry Cobbler DSP, Very Vanilla
Ink: Always Artichoke
Stamp Sets: Lovely As A Tree, Many Merry Messages (retired)
Other Products: Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding, Button, Hemp Twine, Dots Embossing Folder, Basic Rhinestones, Spritzer Tool

See ya

  1. Beautiful card! I would never have thought to cut out that tree! But it looks beautiful cut out and you did a great job cutting it!! I love these colors together, too! Great job on the all the details! Thanks for playing the challenge at Create with Connie and Mary!

  2. Oh my goodness Narelle, you fussy-cut the tree! Wow, it looks lovely perched atop the sentiment. Love all the “vanilla” space too…beautiful, as always. Thanks for playing with us as CCMC!

  3. What a beautiful, elegant card! GORGEOUS…just GORGEOUS!! LOVE that you cut out the tree! Thanks for playing along this week in the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge!

  4. Very pretty! I really like how you used a larger focal point than the sketch image showed…really shows creativity. Love the vintage feel of this card. Thanks for playing the Create with Connie & Mary Challenge this week!
