Freshly Made Sketches #4

Hey Everyone

I love being on holidays when it’s school holidays.  The kids can drive me a bit mad sometimes, but the amount of time I get to play in my craft room far more outweighs the time they drive me insane.

My card today is for this weeks challenge at Freshly Made Sketches.  When I saw the sketch I straight away thought of using my scallop envelope die (I have only ever used it twice before! -shocking really) – I thought I’d better get some use out of it!

This is my card:

This is a pic of the tag to show you it comes out of the envelope.

This is a close up of the tag – I really like these words but haven’t had the chance to use them until now.

I was a Perfect Princess at Freshly Made Sketches this week.

Thanks for stopping by.

  2. Well, I’m not sure I’ve used my scallop envelope die more than a few times either! And I love how you’ve got a message that comes out of the envelope! Great take on the sketch this week. Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches!

  3. I haven’t used my envelope die very much either. It was a great idea and works so well here though! You do such beautiful work and this is no exception. I love the colors and the embellishments are perfect for this elegant card. Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches this week.
