Hey Everyone
It’s Merry Monday time again! Here’s Lesley’s sketch this week that I’ve flipped sideways:
I’ve been digging through my stash of designer series papers and have come up with this retired Stampin’ Up! pack called Ski Slope. Back when I was young (long time ago) we always had a saying – blue and green should never been seen, except when there’s a colour inbetween. My inbetween colour is Early Espresso and I have to say I really love these colours together. That saying must’ve been sooooo 1980, because it’s not one I hear often these days.
We’d love for you to join us at Merry Monday – head over to the challenge and check out the gorgeous cards the Merry Makers have made this week.
Thanks for stopping.
Products Used:
Cardstock: Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Ski Slope DSP (retired)
Ink: Early Espresso, Crumb Cake Marker
Stamp Sets: Dasher (retired), Petite Pairs
Other Products: Baja Breeze Seam Binding, Circle Punches, Circle Scissor, Spritzer Tool, Button, Hemp Twine (retired)
Cheers

Such a pretty card, Narelle! Love the mix of colors and your beautiful bow! Have a great week!
The colors are gorgeous together (regardless of the saying!!!) I love that soft bow!
I’ve never heard that saying, Narelle, but I remember when I was a kid being told that blue and green don’t go together. But then we didn’t have as many shades of blue and green back in the dark ages! Your card proves that blue and green go very well together! Dasher never looked better!
I have never heard that saying but it makes sense and the espresso works! Great card as always and love the spritzing.
Hi Narelle, I have heard the saying before, love the papers in Ski Slope, I have used them a lot. Your card looks fabulous with the spritzing and the soft bow and button.
Wonderful card Narelle, I love these colours together. Your bow is beautiful and the added spritz.
LOL, I have never heard that saying….I’d be in trouble, I love blue & green together! And I love Dasher, in any color!
Love your card, the brown was an excellent choice!
Hi Narelle! This card is gorgeous! I so love the look of that Dasher stamp! Great color combo too!
