The Paper Players Design Team Call

Hey Everyone

My name’s Narelle! I started blogging a year ago because I wanted to enter my cards into challenges and this was the only way I could enter. Since my first challenge I soon realised I was 100% addicted to challenges and tried to find as many as I could. The Paper Players is a challenge blog that I found in August 2011 and I try and enter every week.  I know that when I visit their blog, I’ll always find amazing inspiration from the Design Team and the many submissions every week. They have put out a call for the chance to guest design with them for 3 months.  I’ve decided to throw my hat into the ring and “give it a go”.

Entering challenges has changed the way I create.  I’m continually trying to improve my cardmaking and love that I am often put WAY out of my comfort zone – especially with colour challenges.  You’ll find I’ll try and vintage a lot of challenges but I also love a cleaner style of card.  I’ve recently joined the Design Team at Just Add Ink and have found that being part of a team is rewarding and a huge amount of fun.

We were asked to provide three projects so I’ve gone back thru my blog and come up with the following projects.  I’ve chosen projects that regular The Paper Players followers wouldn’t have seen.
