Hey Everyone
It’s Just Add Ink’s 100th challenge this week. Happy Birthday JAI!!!! I’ve been playing along with their challenges since I discovered blogland about a year ago and I’ve always found really cool themed challenges and great inspiration from the design team. This week their challenge is to – Just Add a Crown. The reason for the crown? When you turn 100 in Australia you receive a letter from the Queen celebrating your milestone birthday.
Be warned – there’s lots going on with this vintagey card, but once I started I couldn’t stop! Here’s what I came up with:
I love Artistic Etchings but I’ve never inked up the crown up until now. It took me a while to figure out what I was going to do with it, so in the end I put eyelets in the crown and key and tied them to the top of the tag. Here’s a closer view:
